In some Magical Circles “Armchair Occultist” is meant to be an insult. It means someone who is not doing “Real” or Ritual Work. Most of the stuff I am doing and teaching does not involve dressing up in Fancy Robes and running around in Circles. I much prefer sitting in an Armchair and doing Deep internal Work and Magic.
Hence the Armchair.
